Write once, properly, and expect a slow answer rather than a fast one.

I read messages twice a day and I answer all of them, including the ones I am turning down. What I do not do is hold a conversation in a chat window: three exchanges settles a booking and the fourth is somebody rehearsing the evening rather than arranging it.

The long message that circles the point gets answered last. Not because it is rude, but because working out what is being asked takes longer than answering would.

Six hours of silence from me is six hours. It is not a no.
