I have a place I could host from. What I will not do is have somebody know where I sleep, and an address once given cannot be ungiven. That is not about any particular person. It is about the arithmetic of a hundred people a year eventually knowing it.

So it is hotels and apartments anywhere sensible, and the twenty minutes after an evening ends are mine to spend leaving rather than yours to spend going.

Some people mind that the ending is managed by whoever is walking out. Most find it easier than the alternative, which is a stretch where it is finished and somebody is still there.

What it also means is that I am better in a hotel than most of this site, because I have never worked anywhere else and the room being unfamiliar is not a thing I have to get past first.
